Movie Monday
Wow! Good Movie. I can for sure see why it is a must see and on the top 100 list. There is not much deepness that needs reading into but it is a very early movie of teen anguish and not fitting in. It completely bridges the 50+ years since its release to now with all the movies about teens not fitting in and disobeying their parents, falling in love and getting into trouble with the law. I would say this movie started it all and would be relate to what teenagers feel in anytime, the 50's, 60s, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's and even now.It made me really sad that James Dean died so young, before the movie was even released, before he really got to reach his full potential. At least he left a pretty good mark on the world.
